Question Eva DVD 1 remaster & disc 2 liner notes

Alright, I'll make this short: How can I differentiate the Evangelion DVD 1 remastered version from the regular version? Is there any difference in the box art itself, or can the difference be found by looking at the fine print on the DVD credits at the back of the case? Also, what was wrong with the Eva disc 2 liner notes? They looked OK to me (not that ADV's liner notes are all that wonderful, but that's another issue). At any rate, ADV evidently "fixed" them.

Ayudame, por favor! (Help!)

Yes,
You can differentiate them...
The supposed fixed insert/remastered DVD Volume 01 and fixed insert for DVD Volume 02 match up w/ the rest of the DVD covers.

I for one, do not have the fixed insert/remastered Volume 01 and the fixed insert for Volume 02. The side of the cover is a bit different from the rest of the volumes while the back layout of the cover has very noticeable differences compared to the layout of the other volumes.

So take your DVD Volume 01 and 02 and see if the side and back of the covers exactly match the layout of the other Volume inserts. If they do then, you probably have nothing to worry about. If they don't then blah, blah, etc. etc...

Volume 01 had went through some editing. The japanese text in the episodes had been painted over w/ english text. Nothing was wrong w/ volume 02. For the most part the covers for Volume 01 & 02 didn't exactly match w/ the rest of the Volumes.

So ADV fixed all of that...

I'm confused...
So the text speed in the first DVD was slow because they just overlapped the Jap text...? In the new version they placed the text at the right speed...? So there was nothing wrong with the dub...?
So they only rereleased DVD 0:2 because it also had a fulty cover...

Sorry if i seem slow...

I think deviceboy meant that if you saw a sign or a map in DVD 0:1, it'll be in english instead of Japanese; they edited the actual film.

Yes,
The Remastered Volume One has the original Japanese Text(Not painted over w/ english text) and they fixed the covers for Volume 01 and Volume 02 so that the layout will exactly match the rest of the volumes...

That's basically it...
