Smile More X-men fanart

I suppose I'm relatively pleased with this one. I should have spent more time on the colouring, but I was just too tired. Oh, by the way, it's Blink, of the Exiles.

Um Blink looks rather butch there or is this the Blink from the alternate reality where she was a lesbian?

I prefer drawing short hair. And what of it?

It's not the short hair, it's more that she sort of had a masculine build on my first look (which was more of a glance) and the short hair didn't help. Though on second look she does like sort of punk now ^^;;;

For future reference, Blink doesn't have pupils (you can even look in her Generation X days and see that )

Ha, I never noticed that she didn't have pupils. Ah well. I like drawing detailed eyes. About the masculinity, well...aren't most comic heroines a tad butchy?

Shh, no one is supposed to know that superhero comics are actually homoerotic!

lol Akira!

Pretty good job with this, Callisto. I have to agree with Project_Akira, though, about her being so masculine/well built like that. But, overall, it really looks sharp, in my opinion. Like your use of colors and lineart... great job!

I like your coloring job on the pic with the general colors and shades and highlights. It seems that the lightsource is coming from the right, then shouldn't there also be a highlight on her shoulder facing that way and also some on the side of her face?
Overall I think the pic is really neat and it's nice and clean aswell. Nice work. ^_^
