Question: does the tail have to super flexible?

Her right hand is a bit out of proportion so too is the left. Finally, her breasts are not...well...don't look feminine. Looks more like a man's chest

Yeah, the breasts actually look kinda... painful.
Her right eye (left to us) is actually a bit too high, her left forearm (right to us) is a bit too short, and I must concur with Kawaii about the mermaid's hands... O_o They are not properly proportioned.

Not bad overall, though. Quite good, really. Just work on the proportions a bit more and it'll be terrific. Keep up the great work!

Fair job, 1 day - woah. I get tired of CG'ing the same pic in one day. ^_^
Very nice coloring job.

I like the hair, but her tail seems rather long for a normal mermaid.... She looks more snake-/lamia-like to me.

And aside from the other things mentioned, I say great job. In Open Canvas.. in one day... with a mouse!!!

BTW, what does the description of the specimen read? Just curious.

Ah, I see, it's written in a hopelessly complex series of letters forming words that are beyond the comprehension of a lowly human.

But then my hypothesis would be disproved by the obvious label of 'Mermaid.'

Hehe.. I just noticed all the other fishies in the background.
