dang Garlic junior

now By all means I hold No dissrespect for toonami or DBZ But I seriously did not like the Garic Junior saga. Now Just when the Story was getting good when there was episodes i havnt seen they put that dam saga on.

P.S. Whats the deal with thier names Garlic the spice boys. Its just dumb

*SPOILERS*

They could have done much more with it. I liked how they had Piccolo act as a bad guy again and how the whole world was against them...but that's used again later in the series. The fights were OK, but Garlic isn't a fighting genius by any means, he just had strength. I did like the Kami/Popo sprint in the spirit realm, but they reused too many scenes and didn't really give a sense of urgency to the affair.

I haven't seen it in Japanese, so I'll hold back my final opinion until then.

I do like the idea of having a mini-series between Freiza and Trunks. Otherwise it wouldn't seem like such a long time laspse. And Maron is funny!

The only good thing to came from Garlic JR was the movie, "Return my Gohan." Akria should have dumped him after that.

The garlic jr saga in my opinion was just a filler there was no build up it just happened between sagas... if you do want to call it a dbz saga i think it is by far the worst!

Garlic suck... Plus there are many stuff that dont realy make sens... First even with that freaking evil moon that boost is power level by 10... Garlic jr would have take beating by Piccolo or Gohan cause they where way more stronger that the first time the fought him. Damn! Piccolo was able to phase Frizza in is final form... Garlic wasnT even close to Freeza first form except from behing imortal...

The reason why the Garlic Jr. saga is shown is to show that Gohan is stronger than people really think he is. It wouldn't have made sense that he killed Cell otherwise.

The series was a break from the real serious fights of the Freiza and android sagas also to make it look as if Goku is gone for a while (Imagine if Goku or Vegita were on earth when this happened talk about a one sided fight). But this saga seems to have thrown the rules of the series out the window. For some reason Picollo gets his as,s whopped by Yamcha (WTF). Secondly Chi Chi seems to have a high power level as she battles Gohan she is moving very fast and seems to hurt Gohan with her blows
(Though it was funny when Gohan kicked her off the roof of Roshi's house).

SPOILER I also thought the trick that Picollo and Krillin played on Garlic Jr when they pretended to be on his side was pretty cool I did not see that coming.

i think the whole idea of becoming immortal is stupid, i know its fiction and all but with him immortal that means they might actually try to put him back into another show. which isn't a great idea. and of all people, WHY GARLIC JR.???
