100 episodes?

I was on the net checking out the names of up comming episodes of Inuyasha as i watch them but when I came to one site it had (although they were incomplete) an episode chart that went up to almost 100 episodes. Everyone kept saying it was around 70 episodes long so can anyone confirm if this is true?

Thanks! and never forget Auska's teachings of thermal expansion!

The Inuyasha series, I believe, hasn't been completed yet in Japan, and it is said that 90 episodes are going to be made, although it is likely, they may extend the number of episodes. I'm not sure if they would come up with the names of the episodes up to epsiode 100....maybe the site was talking about the manga!?

Meh, I won't be suprised to see it go past the 100 episode mark. I just hope that they don't pull a Rurouni Kenshin and make a bunch of filler crap at the end because they want to extend it and because the manga was not yet finished.

Dragonball is a prime example of that, except they insisted on Akira Toriyima to continue creating more f the Dragonball/Z manga.

And kudos!!! I am current;y on Ranma 1/2 Season 5 episode 9. It's really started to lose it's charm after the end osf season 3. I watched almost season 1-3 non-sto. Then Season 4 and 5 are starting to get kinda dumb. Seems like they focus more on dumb filler stuff rather than a development of Ranma and Akane's relationship.

Hmmm it's not suprising for me that there will be 100+ eps becuase I'm reading the manga and it's way past where to series is up too, however Inuyasha seems to give somthing new everytime i see it and dosn't get boring as like Ranma 1\2 did. Inuyasha gets really really good and I enjoy every minute of it.

Yes, I absolutely agree. I've yet to see an episode of Inuyasha that was completely pointless like all those episodes of Ranma. Every episode I've seen, up to 24, have yet to be completely pointless. I've yet to watch an episode of IY and say to myself, WTF, that was totally and utterly pointless and wasn't worth my time watching.

i've seen up to episode 52 and it still has my interest for sure. they just better have an ending, not leave it out to dry like Kenshin.

I figure, i could revive a thread...
We won't know until it stops will we? It is going to break 100, because it's on episode 96 i think, and 5 episodes isn't much time to rap things up. Hey, akwans at 24 episodes

No doubt it will break 100 episodes.

Inuyasha will end when it's ratings dive, it's as easy as that.

Rurouni Kenshin was massively popular in Japan and when Sony/Studio Deen creating a filler saga to air while the manga creator was drawing up the Jinchuu/Revenge/Enishi saga.

These episdoes were very lacklustre to say the least and the ratigns dropped badly. Even though an excellent follow up to the Kyoto arc was being made/released Rurouni Kenshin got cancelled because of the low ratings.

Yeah, look at that post. It was many months ago.

Anyways, it's passed episode 96. The latest fan-sub release is episode 96, and I think they've aired up to 98, maybe 99 in Japan. I kinda lost count.

I have up to ep 96 of Inu Yasha, and the first movie on my computer, and yes, it's still being made. And the way it's going, this show is going to be well over 100 episodes, so sit tight people! ^^
