Martian Successor Nadesico vol1. It wasn't why I went to the store but the cover said "Japan's most popular anime series is here!" so I bought it. I wasn't disappointed

Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. I remember excitedly opening up the packaging and popping the disc in, sitting back and enjoying the ride... It's still one of my favorite movies ever to this day.

Oh goodness, cant remember!

If I had to guess, it would be the original Bubblegum crisis (mid 90's)... which come to think of it ... as a series cost me a bundle ... I liked the series so much, I bought the different formats early bootlegs off broadcast ... VHS, LD and DVD ... talk about being a sucker for anime hahahaha ...

Go Priss Go!

Agreed. To me there was nothing better than rushing home from school so that I could watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That franchise was like a drug for me. As much as I like Anime, that feeling at the end of the school day that the Ninja Turtles was about to start could never be replaced.

it sure was like a drug.
i mean, on saturday mornings it was like wakin up on christmas.

Yeah,
but, back in the day, as a kid.
if i was to get in trouble, i would pray that my mom wont take away my cartoons.
i'll get a whoopin', go to bed without dinner, whatever. but not my cartoon.

like Garfield, DuckTales, Thundercats, Life with Louie, Power Rangers.
and all the good ol' shows.

even if i had moved to japan when i was a kid.
and i knew about anime and what not. theres no comparsion.
